Employment Team Purpose
The Soldier For Life Employment Director connects employers with the right agencies within the Army and Federal Government to facilitate base access, participation in Veteran-focused career fairs, and access to talent pools within the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, and Veteran populations.
The Director focuses on several key areas:
- One, educating employers and private organizations on the Soldier For Life Program, Army transition policy, Army programs supporting employment and Federal Government programs.
- Two, connecting private organizations with Army and Federal Government agencies and resources to meet Veteran hiring goals.
- Three, synthesizing employment data and transition policy into information and actionable intelligence products. And four, synchronizing efforts between Army, Government, and Community to support unity of effort and reduce duplication of efforts.
